Terms of Service

Those who wish to use the Service shall apply for user registration by the method prescribed by us after agreeing to the Terms, and user registration will be completed when we approve the application.

We may not approve an application for user registration if we determine that the applicant has any of the following reasons:

• If false information is provided in the application for user registration
• If the application is from a person who has violated the Terms
• If we determine that user registration is otherwise inappropriate

The Service is intended for individuals aged 13 and over. Individuals under 13 years of age may not use the Service.

If a minor uses the Service, they must obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian before use.

Users shall appropriately manage their Service account and password at their own responsibility.

If a user becomes aware that their account or password is being used by a third party, they shall immediately notify us and follow our instructions if provided.

The Service is provided free of charge to registered users.

1. To provide the Service stably, we set usage limits for each feature, such as the number of saved scenarios and save data and the number of AI generations. You can check your current usage and the limits on My Page.
2. Usage limits may be changed without notice.
3. We may temporarily suspend all or part of AI generation without notice due to system maintenance, failures, a sudden increase in usage, or other circumstances.

We accept voluntary support (donations) through an external service to help cover the cost of operating the Service. Support is handled as set out below.

1. Support is entirely voluntary. Whether or not you provide support does not change the scope of the Service available to you, the features you may use, or the usage limits set out in Article 4-2.
2. We provide no consideration, perks, rewards or other benefits in return for support.
3. Payment is processed by the provider of the external service, and we do not receive your payment information. Information you enter when providing support is handled under that external service's terms and privacy policy.
4. Because support is a donation, we do not issue refunds. Any issue with the payment itself is handled under the external service's terms and policies.
5. We may suspend or stop accepting support without prior notice.

In addition to Article 4, the following apply to your use of "AI Umigame no Soup" (the "Mode"), which is offered as part of the Service.

1. The master's replies, verdicts and whispers in the Mode are generated by AI. They may be inaccurate or differ from what you expect, and we do not guarantee their accuracy. The final judgment of whether a statement of the truth is correct is made in the way we determine.
2. Users must not include in the questions or truths they enter any personal information of themselves or others, content that infringes the rights of third parties, or content that falls under the prohibited acts in Article 4. The text you enter is sent to an external AI service to generate the master's reply (Privacy Policy Article 3-2).
3. Entering text that tries to override the AI's instructions in order to extract the answer the master is hiding, automated input by programs, and any other act that undermines the fairness or operation of the Mode are prohibited. If we find such an act, we may remove the record from the Rankings or restrict your use of the Mode.
4. The Rankings for "Tonight's Bowl" show each player's display name, number of questions, time taken and chosen master to everyone who uses the Service. Email addresses are not shown. We may leave a name out when we find it inappropriate, for example when it is the same as part of the email address.
5. Only users who have finished a puzzle can review it. Reviews are shown to everyone who uses the Service (reviews of "Tonight's Bowl" stay hidden until 00:00 of the next day), and users grant us the right to use them as set out in Article 5-2, item 2. Please mark a comment that touches on the truth as containing spoilers. We may hide or delete, without notice, reviews that violate Article 4 or that we find otherwise inappropriate.
6. We may change the content of puzzles, the schedule of "Tonight's Bowl", the usage limits and the way the Rankings are counted, or make a puzzle private, without notice.
7. The page for sharing a result (which anyone who knows its link can view) shows the puzzle name, title, number of questions, rank, master and the record of replies. It does not include your name, the text you entered or the truth of the puzzle. Whether to share is up to you.

We may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if we determine that any of the following reasons exist:

• When performing maintenance, inspection, or updating of the computer system related to the Service
• When provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquake, lightning, fire, power outage, or natural disaster
• When computers or communication lines stop due to accidents
• When we determine that provision of the Service is otherwise difficult

Users may delete their account at any time from the Service settings screen.

When an account is deleted, the following data will be deleted:

• Account information (email address, password, profile, etc.)
• Created scenarios and characters
• Posts, comments, and reviews
• Game play history (including AI Umigame no Soup play records and your place in the Rankings)

However, information required by law to be retained (such as payment history) may be retained for a prescribed period. Additionally, once deleted, data cannot be restored.

The Service does not guarantee, either expressly or implicitly, that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors or bugs, and infringement of rights).

The Service assumes no responsibility for any damages caused to users by the Service, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence on the part of the Service. However, this disclaimer does not apply if the contract between the Service and users regarding the Service (including the Terms) constitutes a consumer contract as defined in the Consumer Contract Act.
