Character Creation Guide

One of TRPG's greatest appeals is creating your own original character and making them active in the story. This guide explains the steps and tips for creating compelling characters.

Character Settings for Roleplay

Decide on One "Quirk"

Decide on a small quirk to give your character individuality:

Examples:
✅ Scratches neck when nervous
✅ Often polishes weapons
✅ Has a catchphrase ("Good grief", "Well then", etc.)
✅ Loves specific foods
✅ Loves/dislikes animals

This alone makes your character come alive.

Decide on "Something Important"

Decide what your character values:

Examples:
✅ Family (want to protect)
✅ Late master's keepsake (memory)
✅ Bonds with companions (trust)
✅ Hometown (place to return to)
✅ Beliefs (justice, freedom, etc.)

Drama is born when this is threatened in the story.

Decide on a "Weakness"

Characters with flaws are more appealing than perfect ones:

Examples:
✅ Weak to alcohol
✅ Fear of heights
✅ Bad sense of direction
✅ Bad at lying
✅ Weak to women (men)

Common Questions

Q: I want to create the strongest character

A: Characters with weaknesses are more fun!

Perfect character:
→ No tension in the story
→ Difficult to roleplay
→ Can't feel growth

Character with flaws:
→ Situations arise where you need allies
→ Can feel growth
→ Drama is born

Q: Can't think of a character

A: Starting with a template is OK!

Start with a common character,
then add individuality while playing:

"Young warrior with a strong sense of justice"
"Wizard with a thirst for knowledge"
"Rogue who makes witty remarks"

Individuality will naturally emerge during play!

Q: I made a mistake in stat distribution

A: You can adjust later

In many TRPGs, you can adjust
stats when leveling up.

This app also allows balance
adjustments as you progress.

Q: Can I create multiple characters?

A: Yes, you can create multiple

Free plan: 3 characters
Premium plan: Unlimited

You can switch between them
depending on the scenario or mood.
